Stationary Spray Systems

For installations starting from scratch, it is possible to install lubricant through the dies or ejector pins. This eliminates the need for using a manipulator to move the spray tooling into the dies and thus reduces the overall cycle time required for the process. This could be beneficial for applications desiring high volume output using walking-beam transfer systems.

All necessary valves are attached to a plate which is mounted directly to the press. The valves for the lower dies are mounted to the lower bolster while the valves for the upper dies are mounted directly to the ram. Quick-disconnect hoses are used to connect the outlet of the valves to the bolster or dies.

Special spray rings can be designed to assist in cooling the dies.
